Pastor Mark Hovestol – Lead Pastor

Pastor Mark has a passion for living for Christ and sharing Christ with others in Roseville and beyond. A graduate of Trinity College and Bethel Seminary, he is married to Holly and has two grown daughters. His broad experience in teaching and pastoral care enrich our community and equip him to lead us to ‘Reach Up’ to our Heavenly father, ‘Reach In’ to support and grow each other and ‘Reach Out’ to our neighbors and the world. Pastor Rollie Mossberg – Associate Pastor

Rollie's passion is helping people become active, growing followers of Jesus and mobilizing the church to fulfill its God-given mission in the world.

A graduate of Northwestern College (St. Paul) and Bethel Seminary, Rollie has served in pastoral ministry since 1984. Rollie and his wife Michele have been married for over 20 years. They live in Stillwater with their daughter Kiersten. Their son Erik and his wife Zanetah also live in the Twin Cities. Email Pastor Rollie

Pastor Colleen Nelson – Associate Pastor

Colleen grew up in the Chicago area and received both undergrad and seminary degrees from Bethel University. She has been on staff at Roseville Covenant since 2006 and in her role as leader of Children & Family Ministries, loves seeing people encounter the transforming power of Jesus and learn what it means to follow Him. She and husband, Chris, are raising three kids, Anneka, Broder and Jakob. Email Pastor Colleen

Danny King – Youth Director

Danny was born in the Chicago suburb of Libertyville, IL but was raised in Willmar, MN. Danny’s objective is to create and maintain a youth ministry that is fun, yet completely grounded in the Word of God. He wants to lead young people in serving Christ by partnering with the pastors, staff and parents in a spirit-led program aimed at developing disciples of Christ.

Danny has a B.S. degree from Northwestern College in St. Paul with a major in Youth Ministry and minors in Communications and Biblical Studies. He and his wife Anna are blessed with a daughter, Juliet. Email Danny

Austin Kaufmann – Church Administrator (facility, finance, human resource,)

Austin’s education includes a BA from Barrington College (Rhode Island) and MBA in Non-Profit Management from the University of St. Thomas. Roseville is the sixth Evangelical Covenant Church that he has had the privilege to serve, with such position titles as: Youth Pastor, Director of Christian Education, Associate Pastor, etc.   He and his wife, Judy, are both originally “easterners.” He grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia while Judy grew up in Worcester, MA. They have 2 daughters Tabby & Becki and four grandchildren: Amanda, Terrell, Tionna and Tazara. Austin's life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. It was given to him in 8th grade, at Jr. High School graduation, and he finds it just as meaningful today! Email Austin

Jenny Currie – Sanctuary Choir Director

Jenny Currie dropped in to visit RCC in 1997 and has never looked back! She began directing the Sanctuary Choir in 2000. She loves to draw hearts to worship God through singing and to encourage loving fellowship and personal growth within the body and life of the choir. Jenny earned B.A. degrees in Choral Music and Psychology from Bethel College in Minnesota and studied with the VoiceCare Network at St. John's University. She also teaches in her own piano studio. She is married to Paul, a home repair and remodeling guy, and they are parents of Walker, Reeve and Simone. Email Jenny

Matt Kennedy - Worship Coordinator

Before coming to Roseville Covenant, Matt served churches in Chicago, Wisconsin, and Washington state. A graduate of North Park University and North Park Theological Seminary, Matt helps to plan and prepare worship at RCC. He loves to help people use their gifts for God's glory and neighbor's good. When he's not coordinating worship, Matt enjoys sports, cooking, trivia and travel. Matt, wife Nicole and daughter Lucinda live in Minneapolis. Email Matt
