Youth Ministry

As a ministry of the broader RC community aiming to create whole hearted followers of Jesus, our youth ministry aims to EXEMPLIFY, ENTRUST and EMPOWER:

EXEMPLIFY - We want our students to see the fruit of being a member of the body of Christ.  As they grow in their understanding of owning their faith journey, we want to surround them with adults who are exemplifying what it means to be a whole hearted follower of Christ.

ENTRUST - We recognize that while RC will always be a spiritual home for our students, they will one day graduate from our programming and go into life that may take them out of our community.  Our hope during their 7 years in youth ministry is to entrust our students with their spiritual formation, equipping them to be able to take responsibility for their spiritual formation.

EMPOWER - Our last goal is to empower our students to become stronger and more confident in their faith.  We want them to know they are an integral part of our church community. As they have seen faith exemplified in action and been entrusted with their faith development, we strive to give them opportunity to discover and use their gifts within our congregation.

What is Confirmation?

Confirmation is a three year program aimed at building the foundation of faith for our students.
Through this program they will learn and discuss the tenets of their Christian faith and how to
live them out in their lives. At the end of 8th grade our students are confirmed in the faith
in a special service.
