Job wide 2018 1.001.jpeg

Job
Led by: Marti Maltby
Location: Fellowship Hall
September 23rd - November 18th

The Book of Job relates the story of an innocent man suffering tremendous hardships despite his obedience to God. We can learn much from the book about ourselves and our fidelity to God, but we also face unsettling questions about God's love and the existence of suffering. In this series we will go through the Book fo Job, examining the arguments that Job and his friends put forward about suffering and righteousness, and considering how God's speeches answer some questions and leave others unanswered. You won't leave with all the answer, but you will have had a chance to discuss many of the deep questions this book raises.
