Adult Ministries
We bring adults together to study God's Word, experience Christian community, grow in faith, and be equipped to share the Good News.
-
Adults gather for Sunday School following the worship service from 11-11:45am for in depth discussion in response to the sermon. Sunday School meets during the school year in the Choir Room.
-
Adult Bible Study meets in The Gallery from 6:30-8pm on Wednesday nights during the school year.
-
On the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month adults meet in the Choir Room from 10am-12pm for a time of singing hymns and studying the Bible.
At Roseville Covenant, we believe the work of “Becoming Disciples” begins with thinking biblically, but also involves formation that intersects with the actual world we live in. The new Formation for Faithful Living series provides a combination of short-burst learning spaces that will engage not just our hearts and minds, but our everyday lives. This suite of classes is designed to create maximum flexibility for your growth and schedule while learning alongside a variety of classmates who call RCC their church home.
Classes run primarily on Tuesday nights, with two core classes providing the foundation for the remaining courses. We ask that you make every effort to take core courses before exploring others. Core classes are offered twice a year to accommodate your calendar.

Certain phrases in Scripture conjure up more of a mental map than a biblical picture. The “kingdom of God” is one of those phrases. Jesus spoke often about the kingdom, and how he describes it is critical for how we understand our place within it. This class will include assigned reading from Skye Jethani’s book What if Jesus Was Serious About Heaven?
-
As Christians, how we handle our Bibles will determine our perceptions about God, ourselves, and life in general. To read our Bibles faithfully, we need to appreciate the context of the world in which it was written and how we integrate its message into our lives today. This class explores the “lenses” through which we read our Bibles.
-
When it comes to conversations about money in the church, the discussion often moves quickly to giving and tithing. But Scripture is far more wholistic on money matters. It speaks to the concepts of wealth in general, care for the poor, and how our affections are often subconsciously bound up in our relationship to money.
-
Most Christians take seriously habits like bible reading, prayer and fasting while simultaneously being at odds with how we do these things and why. Spiritual disciplines are less about things we do, and more about postures we act from that enable us to experience the presence of Jesus. This class offers a fresh take on the “classics” and the option to join with others from the class in an online community to read the Bible in chronological order over the next year.
-
The word “evangelism” can evoke pressure that involves the ability to articulate theology well to others. What if it’s about learning to notice “good news” in your own life and being able to share that in winsome ways? This class will provide new ways of thinking about the gospel and is perfectly timed for post-Easter!
